Originally from China, Jocelyn has lived in cities around the world, from Singapore to Seattle to Paris, and finds her heritage and travel influence everything she creates.
Jocelyn started her career working as a Visual/UI designer at Starbucks and Microsoft. In 2015, she began illustrating as an outlet to share her love of storytelling. This little adventure turned into an addiction which led to her new career as an illustrator. Jocelyn has been freelancing with companies and creating award winning illustrations for non-profit organizations, but her greatest joy comes from writing and illustrating picture books.
Jocelyn loves to work at cafes and feeds off the urban energy. She now lives at the edge of Golden Gate Park in San Francisco with her husband and two-year-old son.
In addition to her own author-illustrator work, Jocelyn is open to illustration projects for picture books and more. For picture book inquiries please contact her literary agent Jennifer March Soloway firstname.lastname@example.org.
